HEALTH Malaria course is recommended prior to your departure and discuss with your Doctor which anti-malaria drug to take.

WHAT TO PACK You will need sunglasses, walking shoes suitable for tour, light cotton clothes for daytime and evening, binoculars, hats and a good camera.

PASSPORT / VISA A valid passport and a visa are required for all our international visitors. We can however arrange for visas for commonwealth, Ecowas and American citizens at Entry points. Kindly let us know in advance. The tourist will foot the cost of such visas.

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the cost of the tour and other services is required for us to hold your seat for you. This deposit forms part payment, which is due to 10 weeks of commencement of tour. For our daily tours final payment should be made 48 hours before commencement of tour
Cheques are accepted but should be cashed before commencement of tours for confirmation. Otherwise all payment must be in cash.

CANCELLATIONS If cancellation is received more than 2 weeks and 48 hours for daily tours a non-refundable fee of 15% of the cost of tour will be retained.

TOURS PARTICIPANTS In order to ensure a congenial atmosphere we reserve the right to accept or reject any personas as a tour participant and to expel the tour any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interest of the tour group. People expelled will not have their refunded.

SMOKING Please note that smoking is not allowed on our buses but smokers can do so when they get to the attraction sites if such destination allows it.

Paragliding Festival 2007

Our agency, the official travel agency to the Ghana Hang/Paragliding Festival now the Kasapa Hang/Paragliding Festival. This festival was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Diasporan Relation and the Ghana Tourist Board. For the past years these festival have pulled a crowd to Kwahu, not only the Kwahu's but Ghanaians from all the regions and foreigners who heard about the premier. Gradually the awareness of this festival (adventure sport) is been created and we still reaching out to more countries on our adventure tours. Our agency is a member of the Event committee regarding this festival.

The 2007 Event is slated for Easter Holidays 6 th to the 9 th of April, and will be held at Atibie and Nkawkaw - Ghana .

During the 2007 event there is going to be a competition tasks, and hope this will encourage more pilots to attend. The event is being organized by the Ministry of Tourism of Ghana in order to promote Paragliding & Hang Gliding and at the same time to increase local tourism to the area.

Akosombo - Weekend Island Cruise

Drive through Tema, the industrial and habour town, and the mountainous landscape of Shai Hills. Board and take an adventurous cruise to the Dodi Island on the Volta Lake, the largest man-made Lake in the world. On board you be treated with live music. On the island, you will have the chance to view many butterflies and nature. You will return to Accra.

Royal Touch in Ashanti

Forts of the Twin City

This Fort can be found in one of the twin city Sekondi. The Netherlands used it in 1670 and the British 1872: the fort was converted into a lighthouse. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the coast of Sekondi was a major threatre for European trade competition.

Will visit other forts like the BATENSTEIN in Butre a picturesque village and one of the earliest historic settlements generated by the 17th century inter European and inter African conflicts. METAL CROSS in Dixcove is home of the interesting Fort Metal Cross built in 1680.

Natural Attractions of the Twin City

The Village on Stilts (The Venice of Ghana)

Continue to the home of the great African liberator and first President of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Though his physical remains have been re-interred in Accra the national capital, his mauseleum and the village still welcome visitors' and Pan-Africanist pilgrims.

Kintampo FallsKintampo

The waterfall is set in an attractive hilly setting although the fall is seasonal. The waterfall is tucked away in a unique forest reserve of the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana.

Oworobong

This waterfall is about fifty-five minutes to Oworonbong to see the waterfalls. It's very beautiful even when the fall is dried up. This fall is a woman. The path leading to the falls is on the edge of a hilly path, that makes trekking very adventurous, and the attraction there is worth risking.

Boti Falls

In the forest reserve at Huhunya near Koforidua is a small, seasonal waterfall known as Boti Falls. The river is best enjoyed between June-August, during the rainy season. In the immediate vicinity of the falls are caves, cascades, and an umbrella rock worth exploring.

There are other waterfalls in the country, which are worth exploring.

Elephants at Mole ParkMole Park

The park is the home to small herds of elephants, species of antelopes, variety of monkeys and baboons, hippos and species of birds and other animals. It is accessible by air and road.

 

 

Sacred Grove - Tano Boase Sacred Grove & Krito Boase Monastery

Visit the sacred grove, the cradle of Bone civilization. The grove serves as a hideout for the Bone people during the slave trade and inter-tribal wars many years ago. We continue to the only Monastery in Ghana, the Kristo Boase Monastery established by the Catholic Church for the Benedictine monks, with well designed facilities and an attractive landscape setting ideal for religious retreats and conventions.
